Labradorite from Labrador, Canada is prized for it's deep highlights and range of colours.  This particular stone is a soft, olive green with brilliant flashes of cobalt blue and brass tones.  The flashes are deep within the stone, as if locked behind a pane of glass, close but always untouchable.  Turning the stone slowly in your hand will result in a surpising explosion of colour.

The Labradorite stone is set against a smooth tangle of wire, threaded with satin finish, square beads that echo the colour deep within the stone.  It is a ballet of suble colour, blending nature with man made wire and beads into a free form wearable art piece.  A delicate bronze chain finishes the piece, which can be worn with a sweater and jeans as easily as a centre piece over a simple dress or jacket.  A set of earrings is available, designed to be slightly askew in that they are not an identical pair, so much as an extension of the free formed necklace.

NOTE: These unique pieces are individually made, custom works.  However if you really love a colour combination that has been sold, you may contact us to request a new commission with a similar colour theme, however it should be noted that natural stones may vary widely in colour and in certain cases may not be readily available.  We are often able to reproduce many of the colours you see, but usually with a new look and style that will become your own with the assembled decorative beads and stones.  Although you may have a longer wait to receive your piece, the bonus is you will be able to specify the length you want and know the piece is truly your own!
