As you view the various packages, please keep in mind we are able to custom print on some of the boxes directly with a single colour hot stamp imprint. Other gift boxes benefit by attaching a full colour laser printed tag with your logo and a brief message, to which you may add your personal hand written message if you like. Gift boxes may be filled with chocolate truffles, logos, or a combination of both. Steps to creating a logo in chocolate

CUSTOM PACKAGING

We are able to custom design packaging for larger projects. If you have in mind a particular box, with a certain number of either logo or truffle chocolates, please allow us to develop the final product. We have access to full colour printing presses, die cutters and work together with large box manufactures - all of which enable us to structure the project to your needs. Smaller volume projects are also customizable, however we use our expertise to guide you towards a solution that is cost effective for the size of the order, and provides good perceived value. This generally takes advantage of our ability to die cut small box designs created in house that will be invaluable to a smaller volume project.

Custom packaging will include small, medium and large boxes, as well as individually wrapped chocolates. Boxes may be designed to enhance a particular promotion, wrapped up for a gift presentation or durable containers, suitable for mailers. Chocolates may be individually wrapped as small promotional items, complete with a single colour hot stamp imprint on each package.

CUSTOM CHOCOLATE LOGOS

Chocolate logos are approximately 3/16” thick pieces designed in a shape that compliment the logo. You are not limited to specific shapes and size will vary depending on the package chosen. Box content will increase or decrease relative to size and shape of chocolate. The budget you have in mind will help to determine the size of each piece and packaging chosen. We also distribute a wide range of brand name products, including Lindt, Valrhona, Truffini truffles, Classic Truffles, Ferrero Roche and Bakery Products.

Generic logo chocolates are available in a range of designs. Stock designs include ‘Thank You’ or ‘Seasons Greetings’ on the chocolate. Other designs include an open rose, diagonal striped or patterned pieces, or various blank shapes that are suitable for specific types of packaging.

Bulk pack logo or generic chocolates are unwrapped chocolates, packed in sturdy white boxes, layered between parchment. Most suitable for restaurant use, or to be served by a convention or event manager at corporate functions. The number of chocolates in a single box will vary according to size and shape. An average 1/4” thick wafer measuring 1-1/2” in diameter will fit 448 pieces in a box. Generic chocolates range from 180 to 300 pieces per box. There are 6 boxes per case. Minimum order for bulk pack logo or generic chocolates is four full boxes. Order size will depend on your usage and desire to amortize initial set up costs. There are no set up costs for generic bulk pack chocolates.

Custom Packaging will range from small boxes to larger, corporate gifts.  Small boxes are customized with single colour hot stamp imprinting or full colour process, depending on the volume required.  Corporate gift packages are designed to fit the budget, corporate message, time line and type of presentation.  From single boxes to multi tiered towers of boxes, we are able to provide quality packaging, finished with elegant ribbons and decorations and topped with a custom printed tag.

Shipping costs should be considered when deciding how many boxes are required. Reorders are based on full boxes of bulk chocolates, with a minimum of at least four. A minimum order value of $400.00 will generally include shipping by regular, ground transport to major centres within Canada. Gift boxes need to be considered on an order by order basis, as the dimensional size, total quantity and overall weight are all factors affecting shipping costs and part of the determination for a suitable minimum order.

Art work is required to produce a logo on chocolate. This may be sent as an attachment to email, by regular mail, or courier. Do not send art work by FAX, as the quality is unacceptable, either affecting the end result, or often incurring charges for retouching. Art work sent by mail or courier must be black and white, without any gradient or gray areas. Logos sent as a attachment to email should be vector art that is in a file format suitable to PC’s. Lead time to create a logo in chocolate is usually 10 business days. This may increase, depending on the quality of the original artwork received and the number of customer changes. When placing an order, please specify a delivery date and allow a few days’ grace if you are meeting a deadline. We are able to advise you on the approximate length of time for shipping to your location. Reorders generally require 5 business days, plus time to ship.

Packaging can be designed to meet a variety of uses, including giveaways for show booths, conferences, meetings and promotional announcements. Its a natural as a seasonal Corporate Gift and very often the special packaging used for these gifts is reusable. This provides either a second opportunity for your staff to make contact or a long term reminder of who provided the keepsake.

Creating a logo on chocolate is not difficult, as the following steps show:

1. Provide a good quality file of your logo in black & white vector art.
2. Advise what the chocolate will be used for, quantity and any specific packaging you prefer.
3. Approve the art work sent by FAX or as a PDF file attached to email.
4. Decide on package and accent colours.
5. Confirm the final quantity, provide a delivery date and purchase order or signed proof.
